I’ll start, healing up on a broken shinbone and not walking till next month so I’ve grabbed a Venator bow and am cracking some afk slay. It’s extremely nice for Catacombs :)

I got spooned a dpick at cal’varion this week and have also been afk levelling woodcutting. Almost at 85 to boost for the kourend diary.
Kinda burnt out on osrs though. I want to learn CoX and ToB but I’m trying to get full crystal first. Missing 2 more seeds but CG is just so boring.
You don’t need crystal armor for raids at all. Don’t let that stop you! I’m a group ironman, and have not done cg because I also think it’s boring. Do you already have the enhanced seed?
Currently I’m afking amethyst for the group, and playing other games. Because Iam also kinda burned out, and there has just come out alot of great games. So definitely play something else while you afk for a couple weeks/months. Then you’ll be ready to farm the last 2 seeds and start raiding
Yeah I have the enhanced and 4/6 armour seeds. I know I can do without, I have done a few raids already. I just don’t feel like doing more raids with a d-crossbow if I’m this close to finishing crystal. Especially since using the bowfa is a ton of fun (been using it with the crystal top and slayer helm on some tasks). It would also make stuff like Bandos/Cerb etc better.
I’ve been afking shooting stars at work. Still a while off 92 mining sadly. I’d love amethyst for the BP. I have a ton of Addy darts but they suck since the BP nerfs.
Oh damn, you’re really close then. Maybe just doing 1-2 cg a day. The Bofa really is a game changer in raids, I can never outdamage my group mate that has it. I really understand not wanting to raid with a dcbow when you’re that close. And yeah it really fucking slaps at bandos too, very good for the X/0 methods
Funny you mention mining, I have taken the amethyst grind for the group, and oh boy it’s a long one.
But if you have the lightbearer and daxe you can easily start mining it from lv 90 which is really nice. It’s unfortunately not as afk as shooting stars, you have to click every 1-2 minutes. But I find it alright to afk while playing other games
Thanks! As said you don’t really need crystal, it’s just a nice to have. It’s nice for Cox/ToA but for learning ToB you’re better off with elite Void. I know the feeling of camping wolf prison all too well (~1500kc).
Maybe switch it up? I was averaging 25kc cg a day but some days I’d just do 5 instead, you’ll get it for sure, no rush :) Could even run normal CG if you feel burnt since it’s just a lot more chill. GL!
Well, in between the prior two threads I took my total level from 2080 to 2090, which felt slow. So I buckled down and skilled for the last month, and got to 2125. Got 91 thieving for desert elites, 99 crafting, and a couple cox kc with friends to knock out kourend elites. Only diary tasks left are Runecraft to 91 (or 89, or 86 depending on how sick of it I get - currently only 81), and BA level 5’s. Pretty solid progress for a month though! Trying to focus on 99 slayer mostly right now to take a break from skilling, sitting about 300k from 97 currently.
Very nice, I feel the grind too! 4 slayer levels to go now at 95 and I’m done maxing. I’ll be hitting ToB/Hardmode ToB religiously after to build up the bank. No boss tasks, I’m just sending duradel for all the cannon/burst tasks I can. Best of luck!
I’m a relatively early game UIM. Right now wrapping up base 70 combat stats (excluding prayer). Needing to knock out more quests but can’t really bring myself to take the time. 🥴
I bet, UIM seems like very rewarding but also a lot of prep/theorycrafting. GL :)
