Something about seeing screenshots of your phone showing the same posts I see reminds me that you’re a real human person in realspace. An obvious fact, but an ephermeral-feeling one, normally. “Somewhere far away, someone is looking at the same moon” vibes.

I believe it has to do with the language setting on your Beehaw account. Is it set to English?
I believe it was originally; a few hours ago I saw the post about that and set it to undetermined.
edit: seems to be fixed now. All I did was double-check in my (dektop, Firefox) browser, and the two apps on my phone - Jerboa, and the PWA app. I didn’t change anything (was already set as undetermined, like I had changed it to before). Weird.

if this is the case it probably was some sort of caching or federation issue? i know sometimes stuff fails to populate or takes awhile and the influx has a lot of people occasionally encountering that.
