I’m partial to a wristlock right now. I’ve been locking people up in triangles, pulling the arm out like I’m gonna hit the triangle arm bar and wristlocking them. Had a couple of people say please just choke me 🤣

I love it. Have you heard of the punch choke from bottom side control?

Gogoplata for sure. So few people do it or even seem to know that they think they’re escaping your triangle but they’re just lining up for your gogoplata. Kind of a thing that only seems to work once ofcourse.

Have you played with the gogoclinch? Easier entry, stronger finish, and less knee stress. The only con is you don’t get to troll as hard, because they can’t smell your foot

Hadn’t heard of it, looks fun though. Thanks for letting me know will definitely try it.

Wrist locks. Especially when they are being lazy with their grips. I have one when people grab my lapel with a weak grip and there was a good 2 weeks where I would tap most people right when they engage during a roll. Technically legal but dirty, totally unfair, and taking the fun out of a good roll.

Maybe I should bring it back…

It’s a legit sub tho if a little meme-y. A buddy and I had wristlock-only rolls! good times. My coach is big into wristlocks and his coach even more so. That dude hits them from EVERYWHERE on almost anybody it’s wild.

Legit for sure, I think it’s just that I keep doing it instead of a more “legit” sub, winds people up, which I find hilarious

+1 for wristlocks. One of our black belts is partial to a neck crack he calls “who’s your Daddy”… That one’s tricky to explain, and it’s a gi only sub.

Calf slicer, especially when attacking turtle. They rarely see it coming…

Closed guard hip bump to kimura, never forget the classics. I attempted this on a black belt recently (unsuccessfully, obviously), he laughed so hard and said “my god you have no respect” 🤌🤌

Why would he laugh at that?
