idk i just use librewolf and hardened firefox on my phone
They all suck. also arent there only 2 browsers, chrome and firefox?
There are a few other browsers on that test that aren’t chromium based other than Firefox, Safari (WebKit), Tor, and Mullvad (pretty sure they use Tor)
i mean kinda, cause all that s listed there is either chromium or gecko based which is just chrome and firefox on an elementary level and yes i do know this is just a joke
webkit is not real
These results surprise me quite a bit. I may have to reconsider my stance on Brave. I’ve just been using Firefox as I distrust Chrome, regardless of its skin. This makes it seem that Brave is doing a lot more under the hood to protect your privacy than I would have thought possible.
The results surprised me too. I wonder how the results would look like if they tested a hardened version of Firefox like Arkenfox
They did test librewolf. How does arkenfox compare to that?
Ngl I forgot that librewolf is also hardened Firefox. The arkenfox devs say that librewolf and arkenfox are almost identical (scroll down to v97), so I guess they would have basically the same results on this test
gotcha. Thanks for the info
My objections to brave have less to do with privacy concerns and more to do with concerns that I have giving Google full license to be who develops the blink engine and determine the future of the web
Yes. I also have issues with their pushing of crypto.
