Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, which like Palestinian militant groups also vows Israel’s destruction, praised the operation by Hamas inside Israel, according to Arab media. Hezbollah’s leader Hassan Nasrallah said it served as a warning against recognising Israel.

“It sends a message to the Arab and Islamic world, and the international community as a whole, especially those seeking normalization with this enemy, that the Palestinian cause is an everlasting one, alive until victory and liberation," Nasrallah said in a statement.

A group of Arab countries, led by the United Arab Emirates, opened diplomatic relations with Israel in 2020, and since then, Saudi Arabia has held talks with the U.S. about also normalizing its relationship with the Israeli government.

I don’t support war or terrorism in any form. But this situation was inevitable. Imagine you and all of your friends and family being treated as second class citizens for decades for no other reason than having the misfortune to be born as a Palestinian in an apartheid state.

Presumably you’re expecting the Palestinians to bend over and take it for another fifty years?

The western world is no better than when we propped up the nationalist party in South Africa, we should be ashamed.

The solution requires Palestine to have their own state, until then there will never be true peace in Israel.

Edit: I’m guessing this will be the sort of comment that gets down voted, but no one will be brave enough to debate it. If that’s the case, I’ll just assume that you know I’m right and you’re just pissed off that I’m not blindly following the narrative.

They were offered peace and negotiation many times. Different kinds of solutions and whatnot. Even if it was a bad solution, it’s a start and they can keep negotiating from there. But no, it’s never the peaceful route and it’s always strap an explosive to a kid and send them to fish market.

Yeah that’s what happens when your supposed “bad solutions” amount to genocide and Israel stands there and does nothing while settlers steal Palestinian land.

It’s like Americans being surprised to find out the world hates them on 9/11. When you fuck people over for long enough, you turn them into extremists.

Israel embargos fucking food imports into Palestine, funny how you all are whining about genocide now when it’s been going for decades in Palestine. Israel reaped what it sowed.

Would you agree to a peace deal with a country founded by extremists that’s repeatedly made it clear it wants to wipe out you and your family’s existence?

They don’t embargo food imports but that’s besides the point. No matter how bad any proposal is, you can still work with it. Reject it, negotiate, work on it. At no point is kidnapping civilians and killing the rest an answer since violence begets violence and they have significantly smaller stones to throw. Hamas is doing nothing else other than media campaign. Kidnap people, force Israel’s hand, when other people get hurt people like you crawl out to call them genocidal and what not. Cycle repeats.

Just look at what Hesbolah has said… this attack is a warning to all those who look to normalize relations with Israel. Meaning if you want peace you will get killed. There’s no room for negotiation, they only want death of all Israelis.

Hamas ans Hesbolah are not marked terrorist organization on a whim… you know.
