I haven’t spent much time on Reddit since it all went down, but I took a look today, and the Seattle subreddit is full of all sorts of right wing “sky is falling” crime and drug posts that pervade the SeattleWa sub. Did moderators get replaced?
A lot of moderators are going very hands off since reddit is taking away most of their moderation tools.
This will happen across the board starting on July 1st.
Whatever happened during their blackout protest, they finally got Hibernator removed so whoever’s throwing their weight around now finally got what they wanted.
That’s too bad. That was a good place. There’s probably one around here somewhere, I’m sure. I don’t know where it is, but there’s gotta be one somewhere. Seattle is too … Seattle not to have one. There’s probably three or something by now, knowing the Lemmyverse.
I’m subscribed to two, but neither are particularly active. It’s very disappointing since I was more active on the Seattle sub than probably any other and now I don’t have that.
