Steven Seagal stars as Forrest Taft, who risks his life putting out oil-rig fires in the breathtaking far north of Alaska. But when he learns of his company’s schemes to ravage ancient tribal lands and threaten the livelihoods of natives, Taft fights back in an explosive battle of wits and muscle.
This was also directed my Seagal. A real steaming heap of a movie, but pretty damn funny.
“What does it take to change the essence of a man?”
That perfectly describes Steven Seagal as well. A real steaming heap of a man but unintentionally funny.
A movie so bad the studios basically went “hey Steven, how about we get you another director for your next movie?”
I don’t think anyone could have foreseen just how lazy and bad his movies would get down the line, guy looked like he actually had a career ahead of him during that time but he’s just completely meaningless if for getting mocked on YouTube and laundering money
I fucking love that line.
Michael Caine was a gem in this. I loved the environmental consciousness pr commercial scene.
Regardless of what anyone thinks of the movie overall, you do have to give him some respect for his ending speech…
It won’t load.
Piped can be difficult sometimes…
Wow, truth! Is that part of the movie? That’s very progressive for the 80s.
That is indeed part of the movie, very close to the end, if not perhaps basically the end.
He’s got my respect for that 👍
It’s a shame that basically nothing has changed.
Wild clip, and a wildly unexpected source.
I hate YouTube, and love the idea of Piped, but always have better success with Invidious.
