“Terry, a social-climbing young woman, accidentally gets caught up in the activities of two revolutionaries, Blossom and Django, and finds herself in a concentration camp for women. In the center of the camp is a towering wooden machine, “The Big Bird Cage,” in which the women risk their lives processing sugar as the evil warden looks on. The prisoners are subjected to sadistic cruelty from the guards and fellow prisoners, and all attempts at escape are dealt with–permanently. Terry’s only hope for escape lies in Blossom and her revolutionary allies.”
Something tells me this isn’t passing the Bechdel test
I think it’s entirely likely that it does pass the Bechdel test from the number of women on the poster. Remember that they just need 2 women talking about anything other than a man for 1 scene to pass. It doesn’t take into account whether the overall movie is feminist or not.
That’s true, I suppose the sheer number of women in this film will force its way through the Bechdel test
In fairness they didn’t know about the test and didn’t know to study for it and skipped syllabus week and gave Professor Bechdel the wrong email address by mistake. I mean progress is good and inevitable but is it fair to hold these dreamers accountable for fetishizing violence towards women?

Shocked by a couple half-decent performances in this one.
