I’ll say this season as been interesting and I’m intrigued. We’re right at the point where the show usually tips into its annual shitiness. As always I’m in until the tipping point but it’s crazy how I always manage to forget the it tips every single year.

I haven’t enjoyed this show since Hotel. Cult was… okay. The antichrist one ended in such an inane way that I completely gave up on the show. I’m still salty about that ending lol

I made it to Double Feature. 1984 was decent, they didn’t try hard and succeeded with that but the ending just kind of fizzled out for me without much substitute.

DF had good elements but not enough to overshadow its flaws. Macaulin Culkin was great and the kid who played Alma wasn’t just a great child actor, she was a great actor period.

The second half was even worse. The black and white stuff was good. I will never turn down a Neil McDonough performance but that whole teen story line was just a pain to sit though.

Adding insult to injury, they then released AHStories. Most of the one-shots were forgettable at best but the Rubber-Woman story really takes the cake. I couldn’t put my finger on what was wrong with that story and then it hit me. She was essentially an early 2010 creepypasta OC, written by an edgy 14 year old. I’m surprised she didn’t end up marrying Jeff The Killer and moving into slendermans mation in the woods with him

You have to wonder — does the network know about this problem with this show, but it doesn’t care because people still watch the show?
