Piracy seemed like the community to at least understand and maybe know some resources for this. I am looking for music that is available on freer licenses. Preferably easily browsable. Anyone got any leads?
Jamendo.com. Discovered lots of great stuff through that site.
Very difficult. Pretty much anything that sounds ok has copyright and they will screw you over if you use it on the internet.

All music I create is free, open source and copyright free! The genre typically is 8-bit/mod/keygen if thats what your interested though. I’ve been trying aswell to find out if there is a website for such “freeware” music like you said, that isnt Kevin Macleod
