I am a little concerned about how this will work. Reading the manga is fine because you get a few pages every week but if you try to do the same in anime form it will probably feel repetitive. “My recently hired maid is suspicious” had a similar problem.

Yeah, that’s a very understandable worry. Some shows have managed it wonderfully, like the thematically similar Maou-jou de Oyasumi / Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle, but as someone who’s been going slowly through 'Tis Time for torture, even the manga starts feeling a bit repetitive if you try to binge more chapters in a short while.

I was shocked at how quickly Recently Hired Maid got old. On paper, that show should have been a guaranteed win for me, and the first 2 episodes it was, and then…it was just the same situation every time.

I liked Pine Jam’s last three anime in Kageki Shoujo, Do It Yourself (which I really liked), and Kubo-San so I guess I’m in for this one too.

No wonder the latest manga issue featured the Demon King celebrating his favourite manga being animated.

I just read the first two manga chapters in response to seeing this announcement. Seems a bit weird, but it’s Pine Jam so I’ll probably enjoy it.
