Some quick photos from the day. I usually just case the exhibits the first day to get a feel for what to come back for. It was a good start to the event.
Wow I haven’t been to this convention in a few years… The price has gone up too much. My next big con is going to be FanExpo Canada…
Yeah, it’s gotten pricey. Luckily we live nearby so we don’t need to add cost of hotel on top of it. Otherwise it’d probably be once every few years or so for us. I’d still recommend it for anyone interested. This year’s has been great so far.
Has the expansion resulted in more space?
There’s more space for exhibitors on the main floor, but I don’t know that they did a ton for adding quality exhibits and vendors. There’s still ample to see and do, but if anything I think the space just allowed for more low quality vendors to be added.
Artist alley has expanded as well which is probably the better addition.
