Hi, I am 18 and have recently become obsessed with the world of backpacking and UL. I have been camping my whole life but parents aren’t really into backpacking. I am looking to overhaul my current backpacking setup (4lb sleeping bag 🤢).

What tents do you recommend? I’ve been searching all over ebay for durston and zpacks tents.

Should I buy a quilt or just a lighter mummy bag?

Any and all recommendations welcome! I’m trying to spend money now rather than cheap out and have to spend it again in the long run.
