I am trying to log in to the lemmy android app but it keeps on giving me the error, “Server Version (0.17.4) too low”. How do I fix this, do I need to create another account, btw I have created my account using lemmy.world instance
Hey, it sounds like the app you’re trying to use expects the server to be running Lemmy 0.18.0, which is the latest version.
I’m sure lemmy.world will upgrade in a couple of days, I believe they are waiting for 0.18.1 to release. In the meantime, you can try making an account on another instance that is already running 0.18.0 and using that to browse/interact with the Fediverse through the app.

But I thought that you didn’t need to make multiple accounts I am following This guide here.
You definitely don’t need to make multiple accounts, one is enough to interact with the entire fediverse.
The only issue is your one still runs Lemmy 0.17.4, and it sounds like the app expects the instance to be on 0.18.0.
This won’t always be the case, lemmy.world will eventually upgrade their Lemmy version and you will be able to use your account with them on the app. If you don’t want to wait for them to upgrade, then making another account is an option.
