Transitioning away from the gas system will take decades, but the first step is to end wasteful, unnecessary spending on the gas system by moving to all-electric new construction.

We need to think about how to transition away from fossil fuels over the next couple of decades, and making sure all new construction uses electricity instead of natural gas would set us on the right path
