I’m really looking forward to this, but also I’m very intrigued with the controller. Very few have managed to get the analog stick right (including 8bitDo), I wonder how they’ll manage.

And yes I’m very excited for this also. The 8bitdo pairing is really interesting too, I agree that very few modern joysticks have truly ever felt like a real good replacement for what the N64 had (while also overcoming the particularly unreliable joystick that the original one was…)

This will come down to price since it will not support openFPGA. If it’s below $300, then it’s a compelling alternative to a HDMI modded console. Above that price point, other options start making more sense.
