I’ve been looking at this large morganite rough and trying to decide how to cut this. It’s sort of in the shape of a triangular prism, but it narrows towards one end.

I was leaning towards slicing it in three and creating a matching set of trillian stones. The other alternative I’m contemplating is a matching set of square/princess cut stones optimized for this stone.

Interested if anyone has some other alternatives or opinions.

    I recently discovered the Spellbound design and I’m moderately obsessed with it and can’t look at any rough without wanting to cut it in that design. This would be lovely in it 😱

    I love the idea of this beauty being turned into a set of stones. The three stones don’t even have to be identical sizes, it could be a larger pendant-worthy stone and pair of earrings to complement it. I would kill for a citrine that matches in color with the ones my grandfather left behind, so I could make earrings to go with the necklace I made with them.

    It’s pretty well matched to a Smith Bar if you wanted to do it all as one big stone. Everyone loves pixels!
