What kit?
What frame?
Wheels? Tires? I think a good bike should have both wheels and tires.

Wild, I’ve heard bamboo is pretty strong.
“Green” too - it grows very quickly.
I’d go all out and build the ultimate low maintenance machine 😂
- Frame - Steel, step-through, no supension, with mounts for either Shimano rollerbrakes or hydraulic disc brakes
- Wheels & rubber - 700C alloy, paired with Schwalbe’s Marathon Plus, Land Cruiser, or Road Cruiser
- Brakes - either Rollerbrakes or hydraulic disc brakes, not bothered with either as both are very low/no maintenance options
- Gears - Alfine 8 speed internal geared hub + belt drive, although I’ll also be fine with a Nexus, Enviolo, or Rohloff
- Motor - Tongsheng’s latest 300W mid drive 😍 which actually transfers backwards pedalling through the chain (important for me to ensure the IGH clutch engages gears correctly in cold conditions, where the internal grease is thicker)
- Lights - Axa Juno rear light, and their recent front light with a separate low and high beam, offering good visibility without blinding traffic
- Handlebar - Something dutch-style with a long sweep, with adequate space for a phone, action cam, aftermarket backup light, bell, light & power controls, IGH gripshift, comfortable hand grips, and rear view mirror 😁
- Saddle - Selle Royal Bassano. I guess I could give Brooks a try 🤔
