Though I’m not a fan of car focused infrastructure, I have to admit I’m fairly impressed with this little thing. If the range ends up being accurate and they become obtainable for the stated price, this seems like a decent stop-gap for American travel.

They need to do something about that design for it to gain traction
If they give it wider tires, that would increase rolling resistance and use more energy, lowering range.
Metaphorical traction*
They’ve been in prototype stage for decades at this point. If they don’t get their act together soon, we’re going to have teleporters before they make it to production.
