    Is it? What led you to pick up a book from the 1970s? Has it aged well over the past 53 years, or is it one of those books you need to read at the right age for it to stick?

    Poul Anderson was pretty prolific–is this a good one to start with?

    I can’t give you a detailed review, but I probably read it 40 years ago, and still remember the basic plot. That says something good!

    I love it, is one of the first books that i read in 2 days non stop. I love the space opera and i think that Tau Zero is a good history with a good selling point.

    It’s about a ship using a technology for quick travel that gets damaged and takes the crew to an unimaginable fate once they realize the implications of their situation. It’s a great what if concept like most pulp sci-fi of the era.
