How long until Texas declares independence? I’m so hyped to see how they plan on feeding people with just cotton and cattle.

The Republican party would never win the presidency or Congress again without Texas’ votes.

Maybe they can eat their guns?

I guess their children are already, judging by the “most common causes of death for American teenagers” charts.

I wonder how many of them said the gun was to “keep their family safe” and taught their children how to load and fire the round that killed them?Maybe they were “keeping their family safe” from a gay or trans sibling?

Yeah, fuck em. Offer refugee status to anyone who applies and then guard their wall with all the intelligence, tolerance and understanding they’ve shown others.

Damn it I knew we had too many people moving in. Can we just kick Austin out?

Why do you find it acceptable to say grotesquely evil statements like this? The people of Austin are civilians, citizens of our nation. The government should not force people to move on a whim or based on their political opinion. That’s tyranny.

Local Texas governments have a lot more at stake than the rest of the nation. I’m not surprised that the State government is taking this action. IMO, A lot of government functions like this should be pushed to the state level

Can any historians say if this has been done before, between us states?
