Toasts like “Press back again to exit the app” should not hide the App navbar. IDK if i should open an github issue for this.
We already have an issue tracked for this. It will get fixed.
We’re also going to make back first take you to the home tab, then if you press back while on the home tab it will pop the toast message
I wanted to say the same thing. It shouldn’t hide navbar.
Agreed. This happens to me all the time. I’ll be on the home page, go to search for something, hit back, and it’ll say “hit back again to exit,” when really I just wanted to go back to the home page. And then the toast message will be covering the bottom navigation, so I have to wait for it to clear to actually do what I wanted.
Since it’s just a quick pop-up message it doesn’t bother me, and it is easy to see.
