It’s just an environment variable?? If that’s all it takes, there’s no reason this can’t have been implemented across the board.
Well, there’s a huge reason! Those who decide such things should be in the game judge others by what they would do and because they’re bunch of thieves, they think everyone is. They’re also tech illiterate enough to think this will actually stop someone from pirating the game.
