Personally can’t stand when games partner with one manufacturer or the other for optimization. It’s a lazy cash grab they try to pass as a benefit to the consumer.
On one hand AMD will have people who will be able to help optimize specifically for the hardware they are working with, on the other hand it does put people using anything else at a disadvantage and possibly worse experience.
Good, Bethesda doesn’t have the best reputation for technical excellence (earned), so I’m happy to hear they’re being aggressive in partnering with those who do to make this thing run as best as it can at launch.
This is the good side to this partnership. Bethesda doesn’t have the best track record with bugs and if AMD can help them optimize for the Xbox that is fantastic. I do feel bad for the people on PC not using the Ryzen 7000 serise they are optimizing for as they may not have as good of an experience. Hopefully I am wrong though.
