Sell Partey. Man’s literally never fit.

Wonder what Ramsdale’s not doing right in training, cuz I don’t see how Raya still starts today…

Yeah this is beyond bizarre right now. Could be that Arteta is really hellbent on the keeper playing one way even if it’s extremely high risk. That said you have to have a keeper who is pretty much really really on top of it to do so, I just don’t see it in Raya just yet. I think I’d much prefer a keeper who can adapt to the dynamics to the game rather than sticking to the plan even if it’s not going that way.

@Astrealix seriously; getting to point that arteta could lose the faith of the players if he isn’t seen as being truthful about it being a meritocracy

I’m now at the point where I want Inaki Cana to leave the club and for him to take Raya with him, because WTF?

We’ll see. I want to give the club the benefit of the doubt, and I mean he didn’t play against Chelsea either. Not a good look though.

@Astrealix @MHPengwingz He was on the bench and warming up against chelsea though. It’s legal reason he didn’t travel to spain not the made up “Muscle Injury”

It’s odd that this was such a disaster on Saturday and Arteta is persisting. Jorginho is for seeing out games, not starting them.

Jesus and Odegaard need to be benched. I’d start Nkeitah at striker for hold up play. Partey at the 6 if he is available, if not Rice at the 6. Havertz at the 8 and ESR at the 10. Tomiyasu would be in for Zinchenko. The rest of the back line stays the same.

Jesus has been fine IMO and I agree with your midfield, but I want to see Ramsdale as well as Tomi.

Worried about this game. We haven’t been great away in Europe under Arteta, hopefully we have more fortune in the UCL than we did in the EL. Sevilla’s European record speaks for itself too.

Gonna be a tough one for sure.

Partey out. What is this man actually here for? Jorginho isn’t reliable anymore, so here we are, needing two more midfielders in January again.

Jorgi’s fine, if he’s happy with his game time I don’t mind him staying tbh, just that one glaring mistake so far but been solid otherwise.
