Saw Haunting In Venice last weekend and liked it despite its flaws. Now we’re some people who want to watch or rewatch a bunch of murder mysteries. We already did the Branagh Poirot trilogy, done Knives Out and Glass Onion, and of course ultimate classics like Clue and Seven are on the list.

What are your favorites? Your hidden gems we should watch?

Rope with James Stewart is a classic.

    The Fugitive with Harrison Ford

    Dial M for Murder

Zodiac has no reveal but is still a great movie

Wind River is fantastic but also very visceral and hard to watch

    Insomnia

    State of Play

I know a lot of these aren’t the traditional Murder mystery with a large group of people trying to uncover who the killer is, but I do think some of them have the same vibe.

Try the Agatha Christie movies from the 1970s.

I also recommend Last of Shiela.

Game Night. Not really a murder mystery but it’s still great.

The Thin Man is one of my personal favorites. If you like it, there are several sequels that are generally worth watching, but they tend to drop off in quality with each installment.

While I’m suggesting old black and white movies, I should also mention The Big Sleep and The Maltese Falcon. I’m not sure if detective noir quite counts as murder mystery, but I figured I should suggest them anyway.
