A 90-year-old Asheville acupuncturist accused of sexually assaulting several of his patients was arrested again with a new sexual battery charge.

ASHEVILLE - A new sexual battery charge is the latest development in the case of Asheville acupuncturist Shi Ying Kuai, who has now been arrested three times for allegedly sexually assaulting patients.

An officer with the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office arrested the 90-year-old acupuncturist Oct. 20 on the charge of sexual battery, increasing his total charges to four counts of sexual battery and one count of second-degree forcible sex offense.
