      No plans for a live chat yet, but i’m open to suggestions! It would be a comment thread for the first episode. I haven’t looked at Matrix, IRC or Discord yet for something like this. What would you propose?

      If enough people are interested in chat, we can make it happen. I’m just a one man show for now, so i’m gonna need some help at some point.

        I can’t say what would be best, but I’ve joined live chats for the Dimension 20 watch-along’s on Discord and that seemed to work well. They do have an excellent team of moderators, though. That’s obviously important. Personally I don’t have any experience with that, so I’m not really sure what to suggest.

          I’m pretty excited for the idea of a Discord Server (or other platform) to extend the rewatch episodes with. But as you say, that would require a good team of moderators, or at the very least a team to start with. Right now this Lemmy isn’t a lot of work because of the low volume of members/posts, but with Discord there will be more active moderation required.

          Open question: Any people here interested in helping me run this Discord (or other) server for the purpose of live chat?

          If not, we’ll get around to it in the future because i like the idea a lot.
