What about those that don’t have email or internet access? How do they use the new system?
tl;dr: to do a change of address you’ll need to bring your ID to a post office
What about those that don’t have email or internet access?
The first
paragraphsentence tells you?which can be done online, in person at a retail office, or by mail.
I like that they’re including these instructions for people without internet access in an online article. Almost as funny as braille being present on a drive-thru ATM.
It seems like it’s more to prevent a fraudster from redirecting your mail without your authorization. The article is just indicating that there is a method for people who don’t use the internet.

Blind people can be back seat passengers. They can also walk up to a drive-through ATM. I’ve done it and I’m not blind. It also doesn’t make sense to make two sets of ATM buttons depending on location.
The models vary between walk up and drive up already. But even so, half of the braile on an ATM are stuck on. They make us put these on when we install them. And we joke about the same thing.
And, again, blind people can be riding in the back seat or walk up to a drive-up ATM.
People without Internet access would have just called or gone into their post office in person anyway. Also, libraries with Internet access still exist for those without it at home or on their phones. Blind people can still use a drive-thru ATM from a rear passenger seat.
