Yeah I like it, although a daily one is maybe a bit much at the start.
I’m happy with the more reasonable weather. I can get some stuff done now. Doing some non-urgent admin at work while listening to klezmer music, sitting in a bar, sipping coffee. It’s pretty good.
Looking forward to the weekend and the coming week though, it’ll be busy but it promises to be interesting!
So if you noticed, some issues today as we try to upgrade the lemmy.world instance to the latest version but after 2 tries now we decided to roll back… Also means we lost the posts that were made the last half hour. Kind sucks but nothing we could’ve foreseen on the test instance.
We wanted to upgrade to the 0.18.1-rc1 because it would solve some issues. But some other things popped up. So we’re in touch with the lemmy devs and we’ll see what we can do
Edit: also have to do an update for the flemish parliament today lol… hopefully that goes better. Not a critical system or anything though. Like Lemmy ;)
Ah had no idea you were an admin of the instance! I noticed the upgrade doing weird stuff. Too bad, was really hoping it would fix some federation issues I’ve been having all the way from my instance.

As the cutoff date is approaching, you might want to start considering deleting all your comments and posts at the old place. One such tool to do so is https://github.com/j0be/PowerDeleteSuite/#1.4.8 Instructions are there.
It’s a bit unfortunate that there’s no client I can use for this instance yet but I’m sure it’ll get fixed eventually.

I was trying Jerboa yeah as it seems to be the most close to being feature complete, yeah.
Edit: trying Connect now, it’s very good. Still going to be using Sync once it releases though. 😅
