Okay we’re gonna go from shitpost to serious. I honestly think this sculpture is pretty cool and you can interpret it in so many ways. Maybe the artist is saying we care so much about how our hair looks (vanity in general) we forget to be more emotionally mature. Or they’re saying that we mask ourselves a lot from reality. Or maybe it’s just a goofy sculpture with no deeper meaning and it’s pretty funny that way too. Love it
I really like it too. And if I saw it in a museum, I would absolutely think it belonged there. Sure, the face is simple, but the rest shows whoever did it has real talent.
I love the hot takes but the reality is this is just part of the process, they’ve clearly worked on the hair and are moving onto adding volume to the lips and eyes. It just hasn’t been sculpted yet
