Most people know about the absolutely cracked crafted weapons like Ikelos SMG w/ Feeding Frenzy Voltshot.

What are some lesser known crafted weapons you think people should know about or that you just find to be super fun to use?

Mine would be Smite of Merain (King’s Fall Pulse Rifle). It’s such a solid weapon that I never see. I use Stats for All/One for All which is a great combo to have in endgame content.

The other one I don’t see a lot of is Throne Cleaver (Titan class sword). I was able to craft one with Incandescent and damn does it feel great to slam into a group of enemies and watch them go boom.

The void bow from season of the risen is one of my favorite pvp weapons, I have it with hip fire and explosive head and I love it so much.

Judgement of kelgorath is also really great for strand grenade builds with enhanced demolitionist and incandescent (since that repeatedly procs that one fragment that gives you grenade energy) meaning a single kill in a crowded room gives you a bunch of grenade energy.

I know Forbearance gets most of the love among the Vow weapons, but I really enjoy Insidious. Dragonfly/One for All is a really fun combo, and is actually one of the first combos you can craft with it.

For me, Submission is my favorite Vow weapon! I’ve got Overflow + Frenzy on mine, and it absolutely slaps.

Although I’d really love to get a crafted version of Deliverance at some point, Riptide is of course amazing but I just really love the aesthetic of the Vow weapons…

I put in work with my Insidious. Great gun. I just have the classic Rapid Hit/Rampage.

Titan doesn’t provide for much survivability outside of void with the bastion fragment. My solution? An explosive personality with enhanced genesis and enhanced turnabout. Don’t get me wrong, both of these perks suck on their own. But when they’re together, and you’re fighting against those lucent hive moth abusing shits in GoTD, ohhhhhhh man. It’s like a permanent, constantly refreshing overshield.

    I’ve got a few.

Palmyra with auto loading + explosive light is one of my go-to heavies. Not super unpopular, but it’s slept on compared to Hothead and now Apex and Cold Comfort. It’s just super solid and reliable for things where max damage isn’t a huge priority.

I’ve also got the Throne World bow and SMG which I quite like. Fel Taradiddle with successful warm-up + archer’s tempo is fun. Forensic Nightmare with kill clip + perpetual motion is also really solid. Again, not the best SMG, but I think it looks amazing and feels solid to use.

Volta Bracket with Ambitious Assassin and Cascade Point. You can load up a lot of rounds and dump them all in a hurry.

Sounds like a burst damage monster with cascade, I think I’m going to try to grab the pattern for that next.

Yeah that actually sounds wild. Might have to try that since I was struggling to decide what to craft on that gun.

Posterity is one of my favorite off meta weapons for crucible, with one stack of rampage or radiant you start 3 tapping a lot of guardians which catches so many people off guard.

For PvE Until its Return with overflow and cascade point has been fun. Haven’t leveled Different Times up much yet but that’s been pretty fun with unraveling rounds so far, feels nice once you have arrowhead brake on it

I’m going for that shotty roll and yeah different times feels good but it’s got stiff competition in the top slot.

    Calus Mini-tool

Absolutely shreds, and then you add Enhanced Incandescent… 🔥 Paired with a good solar build with Ember of Empyrean, you’ll never not be radiant with restoration.

Even my random drop with Incandescent/Grave Robber still shreds

Lol not sure if it’s lesser known but you don’t see it as much any more. I use this all the time on my solar warlock and you’re right. It shreds.

Yeah, fair point. It is actually pretty well known, especially since it was originally from Season of Oppulance. That said, I do feel like the craftable version never got as much attention as it deserves. I feel like funnel web or ikelos are a lot more popular or talked about.

I know a lot of people were underwhelmed by the solar rework at the time (particularly for warlocks), so maybe it just didn’t get as much use since people weren’t using their solar builds as much.

We need good PvE focused Strand and Stasis SMGs to round out the SMG infinity gauntlet. I know there’s some out there but they just don’t hit that synergy level those three do IMO. I also tend to get stuck in my ways though.

Yeah, I don’t really have a go-to for Stasis. The Immortal, for Strand, is pretty solid if you use have a Threading build since it can drop with the Hatchling perk. It’s not craftable, though.

It’s forgotten about just by being an early craftable. Solid gun I should revisit.

Nezarec’s Whisper is hugely underrated when used with the right build. I always have mine ready for use with Osmiomancy Gloves on my warlock.

I crafted mine with Demolitionist + Adaptive Munitions, although I’m currently reevaluating Adaptive Munitions now that match game is no longer a modifier anywhere. Vorpal would be a solid choice, and I think there’s a strong case to be made for Unstoppable Force (this would probably be my choice today).

Auxiliary Reserves and Extended Mag are both great choices since you’ll get increased shield duration and magazine size. Demolitionist negates the reload penalty from Extended Mag, too.

Thanks. Went ahead and crafted one. Ultimately think I’ll land on Demolitionist + Adrenaline Junkie. Unclear to me if melee kills proc either one, though.

Melee kills won’t proc either of those, but that hasn’t mattered much in my experience (at least when using my Osmiomancy build). However, the Extrovert origin trait does proc from melee kills after a patch a few seasons back, so you do get a nice boost to survivability when dealing with lots of enemies.

I won’t go into all the details unless you’re interested, but the way my Osmiomancy build plays, Demolitionist primarily works as an easy way to reload, with the secondary function of helping me get my grenade back if I completely whiff a throw. Otherwise, I prioritize throwing Coldsnap grenades directly at the largest targets I can find to refund the most grenade energy possible. You should pretty much be able to throw grenades as often as you want (assuming there are enemies to freeze), and it’s unbelievably satisfying to shatter a huge group with a glaive melee.

Also of note, Demolitionist on glaives got buffed this season, so even without the enhanced version of the perk, you should be getting 20% of your grenade back for every kill.

Thanks for the run-down. I’ve tried an osmiomancy turret build several times and just could never really get the hang of the loop, mostly because I’m just bad with fusion rifles. Hadn’t considered using a glaive. Appreciate the info!
