The animated micromovements are beautiful. I love how Maomao snped and put the ladies in waiting in their place.
Dang Maomao, that was incredibly forceful when dealing with that lady in waiting. That’s an aspect of her character I was not expecting.
Yeah took me by surprise too, seems she has zero tolerance for stupidity.
Are we not doing weekly discussion posts for this show anymore? No post for episode 5 or 6.
I have discovered that I really enjoy these historical-type shows. Ruroni Kenshin, Raven of the Inner Palace, Appare-Ranman have all been really enjoyable.
I like how things all make sense, there’s not really any suspension of disbelief needed with this show. Maomao is just super bright and skilled, and knows her stuff.
