Lol this is my favorite one yet. There’s no way that’s a real stock photo from a legitimate outlet
It’s not, the outlet is Alamy
I love that the heat pipe is bent and they ripped a cap lid off by the socket, too. It’s like they tried to take a photo of an inept worker but they were inept at being inept 😂
How else are you supposed to remove the CPU?
Anyway, ineptitude can be shown more subtly with some actual mistakes people make:
- Bent CPU pins from forceful insertion the wrong way.
- Ripped wires off a connector by not releasing the lock first.
- Prying off a fan’s blade rather than unscrewing its frame.
- HDD open in an obviously unclean environment, scratches on platter.
- Using an obviously wrong (wood) screw.
- Connector tabs broken off, cable is now held in with inappropriate amounts of clear tape
- Prying something that should obviously slide away in another direction, visible PCB bending.
- Burning a flat plastic cable while attempting to solder it.
- Using glue instead of solder
- Wine bottle opener 😂
That’s not a mistake people actually make. I picked some realistic, visible ones.
Noo! If you drill the chip, the magic smoke will come out.
Not if you clamp down on the defragulator, as shown in the picture
Have they tried removing the cpu by throwing it into a wood chipper?
As someone who knows nothing about electronics repair, this is what I assume happens in the back of every repair shop.
