This is the sort of shit where the dipshit officer needs to be held personally liable.
Hey now, it’s up to the county to teach their officers there’s no need to tackle a running nurse
Nope, not really:
Bridget Casey, chief of the county prosecuting attorney’s civil division, acknowledged the settlement and said the "county admits no liability … and resolved this matter for a nominal amount.”
Agreed, but to visit her in jail and tell her “I hope you learned your lesson…” Yeah, the lesson is get a lawyer asshat.
Lease arrested Wilson on suspicion of obstructing an officer and resisting arrest, and he ordered her to be banned from the public transit system, which was her sole means of getting to her job, the lawsuit says.
American cops, man. How they still get support is beyond me.
Oh wait, America is a white supremest country. Forgot that.
The people who support them have crazy eyes at all times. It’s weird.
As long as they have their boots on the “right” necks.

As per usual. We did nothing wrong. Hey, your taxes paid for this. Nothing to see here, move along. This is normal.
Jesus Christ, that stories gets worse and worse. The title underplays it. There was not even the slightest reason to detain her (let alone tackle her). And he tried to ban her from public transit for some reason, which was her only method of transportation and necessary for work.
That $75k should have been straight from the officer’s wallet. And fuck everyone involved in perpetrating that bullshit situation.
