Didn’t vote, but I appreciate that this poll seems to be rewarding teams that played difficult games. Georgia and Michigan are appropriately ranked for teams that haven’t really faced an opponent yet.

They one of the few teams with big wins, though they are looking less impressive as the year goes on. It’s also a meaningless time for rankings, a Georgia that beats Alabama in an sec title game is number 1 or 2, depending on Michigan or Ohio State being undefeated. Being an ACC champion could still leave them outside the top 4 at the end of the year.

Clemson was a big win, but that’s not looking good either now.
Didn’t have anOSU end zone ready, so had to scramble to add that to my Photoshop file for the banner. Was not expecting them at #1 here or in the playoff rankings (although I get it, if the season ended today, they do have the best resume).
And we only got 5 responses this week? That’s a shame. Looking at the point distribution, so many teams could move by even one more ballot. So my takeaway is besides the small sample size, there’s not much consensus among the community.
As always thoughts,
- Wow, definitely check that link this week, some… interesting… input this week
- You may have noticed the Michigan drop, a #1tOSU ballot entirely omitted them whether this is moral, forgetful or rival I cannot say
- Also our smallest poll since early in the season so UM dropped a LOT
- c/cfb confirmed cowards, keeping OU top 10
- Kansas also jumped all the way to 22 after receiving no votes last week
- Tennessee jumped 6 spots after beating unranked kentucky
- Oregon state suffers I believe our new single week slide but I’m too busy to check right now
Sorry I have missed my poll entry the last two weeks all. I’ve had some personal things that haven’t let me be as informed as I would like before voting. With my Jayhawks back in the top 25 hopefully I will have extra motivation.
Thanks for organizing this every week and thanks to those who have faithfully voted and those that have helped write game summaries. Those really do help! Hopefully this community continues to grow!
Hey we appreciate your participation either way. I mostly just point it out so people who don’t look at the point totals still see our changes for “survey population”. Rock Chalk baby!
