I still remember their huge overbudget website being able to accept a whopping total of like 6 applicants before it crashed.
And the “not poor enough” debt trap
And the entire medicare staff being unable to comprehend joint bank accounts. Or that a person’s children might actually try to help their parents or elderly relatives.
While I’m here, I will also rant about Michelle Obama exchanging all the sodas for diet sodas as if that was any healthier because Coke paid pocket change in lobbying.
It has been 13 years and I still want my god damn hot funyans back >:(
Unless I’m misunderstanding the article pushing for inclusion, tackling weather inequality, and authoritarianism isn’t dystopian.
There can be no such thing as “inclusive” capitalism - no more than there can be such a thing as “benign” dictatorships.
Capitalism is very inclusive… after all, the wealthy cannot grow wealthier if there is no poor people for the wealthy to parasitize off.
