Romanesco Broccoli is my favorite vegetable. I could eat in a soup everyday and never get tired of it.

What are your favorites? OR foods that you can’t stand?

I love Romanesco broccoli, too. It reminds me of fractals. I like that you can cook it and it doesn’t get mushy, like broccoli does. I had a recipe for baked Romanesco “Mac” and “cheese” and it was beautiful and delicious. I think it had purple broccoli, too. Nobody else in the house liked it, though.

that sounds amazing! People are usually so surprised by the colors. It once took me 5 people to figure out how to scan it at the grocery store register because they hadn’t seen it before.

I like to drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder and smoked paprika. Roast at 400 for 20 minutes. For easier clean up use parchment paper.

As a Swedish person it is my duty to have the humble swede as my favorite. Goes in most dishes, soups, stews, baked, and of course rotmos. Have tried lacto-ferment it as well, although have to admit it wasn’t wholly successful.

You know I have never tried one of those. That rotmos does look delicious though! Thank you for sharing this and I will be sure to give them a try.
