If their people are fighting over which religious/social minority to hate, they’re not talking about the government’s inability to serve them. For more information on this tactic ask literally any Republican elected official in the US.

Hatred toward those who don’t share your customs is unfortunately common.

For whatever one random person in the world’s opinion is worth, I really don’t think most people are like this. In my experience, most people most of the time are kind and curious when meeting strangers and like to learn new things.

The problem is it doesn’t take anywhere near majority of people in an area to cause chaos, and when things get chaotic those natural tendencies towards kindness and curiosity get replaced by resentment and fear really quickly.

It’s not so much customs or religion at this point, just as the Troubles in Ireland weren’t really about religious belief. Rather, the religious identities mark distinct social groups, which have a history of discrimination, oppression, and terror against one another.

It’s not “You don’t believe in my God so I have to kill you” so much as “Your daddy killed my daddy, so my uncle killed your uncle, so now you and I have to try to kill each other too.”

Remember that things don’t just stay online in China if the government doesn’t permit them explicitly.

Uh, we beat those cunts in the last election, innit? They’re about 1/3 of Americans, we can beat them again if we don’t spend the next election sitting on our thumbs. When was the last time the Chinese people had a say in their governance?

Don’t count those chickens yet. They’ve got a lot of their own crimes to pardon, so they might try to pull a “patriotism” again.

Yeah, I don’t know if the voting part matters to them any longer…

Voting sets the difficulty for them, dont make it easy on them.

I’ve never missed a vote in my life, though I can’t say I’ve been wild about any of the outcomes. Let’s hope Dems can get their shit together this year because the last 3 haven’t been the most inspiring.

Don’t ask them what they think about black people. Although maybe ask what they think of Jewish or Muslim black people. Out of curiosity. Probably won’t be good.
