Personally, I love the Torid. Pointing it into a crowd of Infested and see the screen fill up with damage numbers is so satisfying.
Probably still Strun but Torid is pretty hillarious as well.
Latron is probably my favorite. I like the way its base version handles, and when I transmute it to the Incarnon version, it just wrecks shop.
The Braton and Burston both also feel nice. Lex is amazing, but it’s base version feels so dinky that charging it up is a bit of a chore… but once you do… whoo boy. Dual Toxocyst also feels really satisfying to use. When you’re constantly landing headshots, it just mows.
I am looking forward to picking up both the Strun and the Torid, I missed both of those the first time around.
I both love and hate the Lato Prime incarnon. I hate it because it’s a weapon that’s impossible to get for others and the reason for the love is because it gets a quite large AoE burst when it hits something and can decimate entire groups in just a few shots.
Soma, but I haven’t gone through the effort to reacquire and play with most of the other Genesis I’ve got yet. I’ve got a nice build and with the doubled base damage and improved reload speed is great.
Shotgun mode is… ok when I’m dealing with something that’s chewing through too much ammo.
I found latron to be the most fun personally, with how good the gimmick feels and how strong it can be. But the one I use by default is torid, just because how easy to use and how powerful it is can be.
For secondary I use lex, just because I unveiled its riven few days after I got it. Pretty good, feels like a pocket plasmor.
I have always liked the Strun but the incarnon has absolutely solidified it as a staple in my loadouts.
Toxocyst and Dread.
soma, my favorite gun got turned into the best assault rifle in the game with an assault shotgun mode
Torid and Dual Tox, probably. Very satisfying, I agree
Torid
Also ceramic dagger stat stick is bonkers
I’ve seen this a couple times, but could you explain to me how it’s bonkers?
I know you can push the innate combo counter really high, but aren’t you sacrificing a lot of damage to get those mods in?
No im not talking about the innate combo, build it just like any other stat stick, its just that Evolution bonuses work on pseudo exalteds so for example khora’s whipclaw gains 55% base crit chance reaching ez red crits with just blood rush
That is fucking outrageous, I’ll have to try that!
Dread. It slaps so hard, and im glad to have yet another functional bow in my gearset (Omg why do I have so many bows!)
Speaking of, where do i get those? I wanna see if there’s one for my Twin Grakatas.
You get Incarnon Genesis adapters in Steel Path Circuit, but only certain weapons have them.
Damn. And i was hoping i could feasibly get these with so much talk around them.
There isn’t. There is one for Dual Toxocyst though, which should feel quite similar in the Incarnon Form.
Steel Path Circuit, you select two per week. One as reward 5 and the other for 10.
I really like how Latron feels and want to try Strun but I dislike semiauto weapons, so I’ll go with Braton. It’s not the best out of the bunch but being full auto on both modes just makes it nice to use.
Torid for sure. I enjoy the infested aesthetic in the game a lot, and beam weapons have always been my favorite type. I got really lucky and rolled a Torid riven for it right after I got it upgraded:
Torid Geli-acricron 114.8% Cold 180.2% Crit Chance 150.8% Crit Damage -41.1% Infested Damage
It literally only red crits, and on Nidus it is so satisfying to larva a whole room, (virulence augment for crit chance) and just blast the beam into a wad of enemies. Even the gas aoe normal fire does red crits and it hilarious when I blast some gas, then pull things into the gas, and boom red numbers start ticking.
Second for me is Burston, for similar reasons but the mag size is amazing.
I really like my Braton and Lex incarnons. They are my go to weapons now.
