Deconstructed salad sounds like the chef is just too lazy to construct one and wants to be praised for it…
I’ve had a deconstructed Caesar salad once. It had an anchovy on it. It was pretty good. Did I mention I’m part Sicilian?
Fun fact, anchovies are good in a certain foods, but pizza is definitely not one of them. I suspect its presence there has to do with pizza’s origins being something similar to focaccia. Anchovies, especially the salted ones in tins, should be used very sparingly.
