Today I’m trying my new Osmofolia scent, Lovers Leaving Hell (notes: Woodsmoke from a dying bonfire, a pair of lit cigarettes under a starry sky, two warm bowls of vanilla rice pudding, and sweet, yearning kisses of cardamom.). This is my first foray into Osmofolia, but I heard such great things about their atmospheric scents. I ordered a few from the anniversary/summer release, and I totally get the love. This is so warm and creamy. You get the smell of smoldering wood, but it’s not overpowering. It’s primarily creamy rice pudding which is incredibly realistic. I get the bit of spice and the chewiness of the rice. This one is really lovely, makes me excited to try the others I ordered!

I loved the description and name of this scent, but that lit cigarette mention scared me away from ordering this one. Interesting to hear it smells more gourmand!

I don’t get any tobacco/cigarettes smell from this one. It may be blending with the woodsmoke scent.

Today, I am wearing Osmofolia’s** Nietzsche’s Lychees ** (Lychee, Coffee Flower, Mushrooms, Chocolate, dry sweetgrass, vetiver, black musk, osmanthus, and nagarmotha). Mmmm dirt~ Wet: I get a tart lychee with chocolate and vetiver. The lychee quickly goes away and I get left with a nice earthy scent with the dry grass smell becoming more prominent. This perfume is very earthy and warm. I’m a fan!

Super busy day today (yet here I am on Lemmy…), so I basically only did the bare minimum grooming: shower, brush teeth, put on clothes. I made a small mineral makeup order from an Etsy seller that I’ve tried a bunch of samples from, so hopefully that will be here soonish.
