It would be great if nsfw content can be blocked from appearing in the all/community feeds. Not blocked globally. Content should be visible if you go direct to a community which contains nsfw content.

The memmy app for IOS has toggles that can either blur nsfw or hide them completely!

But yeah I agree we should at least be able to configure that in our account settings

That makes sense, and I think I agree.

Edit: is that not already a feature? Settings>show NSFW> select “never”

Or just implement a toggle option so we can customise what we see

I agree with this feature. I’d rather nsfw not come up on /all when I’m browsing at work. But if I go to a nsfw sub I want to see it. That’s just my thoughts about it and how I’d like it to work.

There’s a toggle in your settings to enable/disable NSFW content.

That is true, but it’s a global setting. We are looking for something more fine grained here

I even went as far as having two user accounts with very different names, one registered with lemmynsfw instance and one lemmyworld with the intention that world would have all nsfw off all the time and obviously nsfw always on.

Within the connect app the nsfw setting is blanket and can’t differentiate between settings when on different accounts/instances. It would be great if that was possible.
