I gotta say Lemmy is hitting in all the right places… it’s been 2 days and I hardly think about Reddit anymore… what is Reddit anyway?
My favourite feature on Lemmy is getting to see how many downvotes a post or comment has, rather than have the downvote feature there but no counter.
Reddit be like: 7 upvotes, 3 downvotes, total comment score 5.

This right here. I think it helps to rip the bandage off. I’ve been here for 20 days or so now and the first few were kinda tough. Replacing Apollo with Lemmy on my phone helped with the muscle memory and habit part. Now that we’re building a community, we have fresh content I’ve never seen before and I don’t really miss Reddit at all.

Yeah, the amount of reddit-related posts on here kinda shows that people would rather be on reddit. Seems like reddit is living rent free in the minds of quite a lot of people.
I don’t get why. I have no interest in going back and have not yet I still see a ton of reddit on lemmy.

I didn’t use Reddit during the “Golden era” before the changes and redesign, but I really love Lemmy, the simplicity and feel of community is great. I think I found my new internet home here

I just wish there were fully developed apps ready for it. I’m using mlem but it also is missing quite some features for now. Once that’s done, it’s goodbye reddit.
