I have a version that can log in (optionally), show posts of all media types, view comments and if youve voted, and today i’m going to add the ability to vote. So far, you cannot post or comment, but those are my next priority. You also cannot currently use any mode except “comment pane” view type, but that would be my priority after

I think it would be useful to you to release a very early beta for 2 reasons:

    • apps are popping up left and right, I think some users may pick one and stay on that app after having tested all that are out
    • you can get early feedback on what people would like to see but also bugs and glitches they may encounter on different devices / instances

Late, but thank you for doing this man.

I know it’s going to be a while before it’s finished. But still, downloaded the current 0.0.2 version and even if it’s not close to being functional, it made me smile.

Feels like home. Thank you so much.

For now, I open it to feel nostalgic. I use the others when I need to engage.

Firstly, I want to thank you for all your efforts. :) I used Slide for years and always found it very intuitive and smooth!

Second: a beta would be great. I’m sure there are plenty of people willing to test it for you!

Personally, I think get it out once you can post and comment. I’d imagine some people might give up and move on, never to return. Basically functionality feels like a good place for a beta - I can install it and make use of it, waiting for later releases.

If you put something out earlier you could call it an alpha release to demonstrate proof-of-concept.

either way, I’ll be trying this out. I mostly used Slide and Infinity for reddit and both are great apps. Thanks for doing this!

Late comment but none the less. I think this early in development go for quick/regular alpha/beta releases. Give your supporters/users something to give you feedback on, create issue reports and hopefully more code contributions. Not being a developer though I have no idea if this would create its own set of issues.
