    i hope it doesn’t continue…

Disney is really bad with overstretching stories. Just leave it as it is.

Totally agreed about Disney overstretching stories. But Loki is too interesting of a character, and Tom Hiddleston far too good as Loki, to leave him stuck there. I’m not sure they need an entire new season to free him, though. Maybe a cameo or a post-credit scene somewhere showing him handing off the responsibility and being free to keep being Loki.

He’s not stuck, he made a choice, and he was a variant. At the end of the day like got a second life after being killed off, and that’s enough. It’s a good send off, but I expect Tom Hiddleston is finished with the character, at least in a featured role

Reads like the article was posted before the finale came out, and the author didn’t know the details. Most of the speculation involves him leaving the TVA and showing up elsewhere which, based on the finale, is probably not going to happen any time soon. (Edit: changing first word)

It was a good ending to the story and to Loki, which I assume is finished in the MCU

It was a good ending, yes. I imagine if they wanted to bring him back it would be the same as they did with Red Skull, as an otherworldly God of Time, meeting people who don’t even know who Loki is.

I think variants might show up during the multiverse stuff, but they won’t stick around after it all wraps up, and won’t be integral to the story
