Sorry I haven’t had time to post until now.
Especially considering how remarkable the numbers are. I was curious whether the 2 ships would be here, and indeed they are.
Very impressive by Ukraine to get those, but the numbers all in all must be absolutely devastating for the Russians.
I hope Ukraine have gotten through this insane day with way fewer losses.

No way Ukraine has killed 300,000 Russians.

It does seem incredible, but why do you personally doubt?

The Ukrainians are far, far more motivated, have Western aid and have been training for this since 2014 or so.

They have more modern everything, from tactics to rifles to drones. And unlike Russia, they’re not stuck with dogmatic battlefield strategy commanded from the top down. They took note from the Americans; Let the commanders in the field adjust to fluid situations.

The key item here is that “combat losses” is what is being tracked. This means KIA as well as Wounded in Action. The actual Russian death count is definitely lower from my understanding but the result is the same. ~300k Russians troops are no longer able to participate in this war.

To add to this I think Russia not too long ago accidentally leaked something close to the actual number deaths. It was around 120k I believe.

I wish they would go the fuck home and stop getting maimed and killed for this piece of shit’s ambitions.

As I understand it, It’s not killed but incapacitated, and it’s an estimate based on Ukrainians own military reporting.
So it may be somewhat biased.

Yet this number have been matched fairly good up earlier with both US and UK estimates.

Russia should get the fuck out and stop the killing in Ukraine
