Yeah, since they failed at defunding the IRS with the last aid package, gotta do something. Right?

They keep picking issues that have the support of the bulk of the party. If they were smart, they’d pick something that progressives like and centrists hate but can’t side against without being able to plausibly pretend that their hands were tied.

All republicans care about is wasting taxpayer money. I hope the party dies out as soon as possible. Jointly and severally.

If the Democrats really want more money for Israel, getting tough on immigration is like the sanest thing Democrats can do to show they support the Israeli ethnostate. Heck, I’m surprised that Democrats aren’t trying to build a wall to be more like Israel.
