On most third party apps they have indent lines or guided lines, and you can basically follow the conversation. On lemmy they have the lines but no way to collapse a parent comment or follow along. Am i missing something?
From the web-ui, when viewing a post with comments, each comment has a header line with the username of the commenter, and to the right of that a box with a dash in it. Click the dash. It collapses the thread and turns into a plus.
Is that what you’re looking for? I’m not sure what “follow along” means. But collapsing is easy enough.
I probably said it wrong. How do you view parent comments and follow the conversation in jerobe or Desktop web ui. I see sometimes the first comment is blue then the reply to that is green then there is a comment that is directly commenting on the parent comment. That’s what i meant
