This is why I just make them at home now. A good homemade burger is incredibly easy to make actually. I can make 4 quarter pound burgers with cheese for ~$20 and my family generally prefers them over restaurant ones. The fries are a whole other deal. I haven’t perfected homemade fries yet.

Give em a pre-soak to remove some of the starch from the potatoes, thoroughly dry em and proceed as normal, but fry em again at a slightly higher temp after they’ve had a min or two to rest after the first fry.

That’s pretty consistently good in my experience

Do you grill, pan fry, broil, other(?) I love grilled burgers, but it’s a hassle vs popping something in the oven. And flat top grills are even better, but 10x the mess to clean up. Pan fried never tastes that great for me. But maybe I don’t know what I’m doing.

It depends on the time of year. I have a gas grill outdoor that I use most of the time but I have had great success using my cast iron pan other times.

Dude what? Is someone selling million dollar hamburgers to bump up the average??? $15 is insane

I can still buy tacos for a buck or two, so it can’t just be inflation
